Al & Kathy's Boating AdventuresOur boating adventures began late in the season, just by chance. Al had been talking about boating for a while. Then one day, after a nice walk in a new Bellevue Park, we drove by a house selling what looked like the perfect little boat for us. See below. We went out in the little Avon boat a couple of times, but honestly, it was a little cramped for 2 adults. So once again Al found a great buy on Craigslist (www.craigslist.org), a 12 foot inflatable boat with a wooden floor. That's more like it! Next he found the 15hp Taihatsu motor, a GPS, and a radio. (ok, so he is a little obsessed :-) Even though the weather is getting cold, a sunny weekend day will find us out in the boat.
